- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and tenders within key sectors, including clinical diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and R&D laboratories.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Lead, empower, and support teams within the division to ensure continuous performance improvement.
- Identify learning and development opportunities to support team growth and upskilling.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to expand the client base.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and client communication records using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
- Monitor team performance and implement training initiatives as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is considered an asset).
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience within laboratory equipment, diagnostics, or scientific instruments.
- Strong knowledge of the scientific and laboratory markets and related products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in Malta.
- Fluency in both Maltese and English.
