We are seeking to recruit a Technical Front Line Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive Technical Job Planning Reviews · Support Product and Process Innovation plans · Build Product and Process FMEAs · Facilitate SSQCDP Management through the Shop Floor Management System, Kaizen and Lean Thinking · Support Process Confirmation · Drive OPEX level achievement · Drive Improvement through manufacturing techniques (SMED, 5S, VSM, Kaizen, Kanban etc.) · Drive Structured Problem Solving activities · Embed HPT within assigned areas · Drive technical awareness of products and processes through training and team activities · Drive Lean Thinking and BIQ elements · Drive A3s and QOS charts · Safety and Secure culture · Drive a Tour ready factory To understand the principles and comply with practices of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Continuous Improvement. · Always act and behave in a way compliant with all company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to values and behaviours, environmental health and safety, ethics and codes of conduct, as it is through living our values that we strengthen the culture of our business, and demonstrate our understanding of our Code of Business Principles. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Diploma in Technical or Management or equivalent experience in manufacturing operations or equivalent Ability to communicate manufacturing techniques including lean manufacturing Technical aptitude, either formal or experiential Quality assurance awareness Problem Solving acumen 8 wastes and Continuous Improvement expertise Trained in Operational Excellence Understanding of budgetary controls and variance analysis within an operations environment Ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop people in a team environment Conversant with MS Office platform Ability to assess risks and make safe workplace decisions. Timekeeping and attendance discipline Ability to influence change Positive attitude with a desire to develop and be developed A desire to meet and exceed customer expectations in QCD Continuous Improvement drive In-depth Problem Solving ability Flexibility and adaptability Leadership and motivation to lead by example Ability to live by the DLR values as routine.   • Assemble and adjust prototype of new model
  • Change or adapt the equipment according to legal or production requirements (production speed, new products...)
  • Check safety regulations for people and installations
  • Keep production files up-to-date and check follow-up documents (category, parameters, indicators,...)
  • Define terms for industrialization of production. Coordinate operations of plants/installations by testing, trial running
  • Draw up and manage budgets
  • Draw up production reports. Suggest organisational, production, logistic adjustments and corrections
