- Lead the preparation and execution of a la carte dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation are maintained.
- Develop, plan, and update the a la carte menu, working closely with the Head Chef and culinary team.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques, food safety, and best practices.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the front of house and other kitchen sections to ensure efficient service and exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, complying with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Participate in staff training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends and techniques.
- Assist with special events and menu tastings as required.
- Extensive experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar senior role, specifically in a la carte setting.
- Strong culinary skills with an excellent grasp of modern cooking techniques.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in training and developing kitchen staff.
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant qualifications preferred.
