Practitioner – Financial Services & Fintech

• Provide legal and regulatory counsel in the field of Fintech, Digital Assets & Emerging Technologies
• End-to-end licensing and regulatory compliance (MiCA & CASP)
• Issuance, trading, and tokenization of crypto and stablecoins
• Advisory for blockchain infrastructure, wallets, and exchanges
• Structuring fintech initiatives within the EU framework
• Provide regulatory and licensing counsel in the field of Financial Services Regulation and Supervision
• EMIs (Electronic money institutions), PSPs (Payment service providers ), and CASPs (Crypto-asset service providers)
• Draft and revision of comprehensive compliance manuals, policies, and internal controls
• Cultivate strategic client relationships and identify new market opportunities:
• Lead advisor for Fintech, crypto, and regulated financial service providers
• Spearhead client acquisition and expand the firms market presence
• Represent the firm in regulatory consultations, conferences, and high-impact thought leadership

• Qualified lawyer or senior practitioner with a background in Fintech and Financial Services
• Expert knowledge of Maltese and EU frameworks (MiCA, DORA, PSD2/3, EMD, MiFID II)
• Proven track record engaging with the MFSA and FIAU
• Proven ability to work independently within a team setting
• Strong drafting, problem-solving, and technical skills
• Client-facing confidence with a sharp business sense
• A proactive interest in evolving tech and finance
