- Conduct in-depth research to identify potential industries and businesses, through market intelligence tools, whilst understanding the market;
- Leverage professional networking platforms to connect with target industries, crafting personalized outreach messages highlighting the benefits of the product, tailored to the recipient's business needs, following up accordingly;
- Engage with existing clients to understand their satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
- Foster long-term relationships by providing ongoing support and demonstrating a commitment to their success; seeking feedback to understand areas for improvement and addressing any concerns promptly;
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure a deep understanding of the product's features and capabilities, translating client requirements into technical specifications and customizing solutions accordingly;
- Act as a bridge between clients and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of expectations;
- Develop customized presentations and demos showcasing how the product can address specific pain points and streamline business processes;
- Adapt communication style and content based on the audience's level of technical expertise and industry background;
- Focus on demonstrating tangible benefits and ROI to create compelling value propositions;
- Implement a structured sales process from lead generation to closure, utilizing CRM tools to track progress and manage pipeline effectively;
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to prioritize resources and focus efforts on high-potential opportunities;
- Maintain transparency and clear communication with clients throughout the sales cycle, managing expectations and resolving any issues proactively;
- Work closely with the marketing department to align messaging and promotional activities with sales objectives, providing insights and feedback from clients' interactions;
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes to maintain a cutting-edge approach in the ERP market.
- At least 3-5 years of proven success in business development, with ERP systems.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with different stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker with a knack for solving complex business challenges.
- Fluency in Maltese and English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication with clients and the team.
