- Develop and implement market access and reimbursement strategies for innovative medicines.
- Anticipate market access requirements and adapt global strategies to the local context.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with payors, policymakers, and healthcare stakeholders, contributing to healthcare system strengthening initiatives.
- Lead and manage contracting negotiations, reimbursement applications, and pricing submissions.
- Collaborate with medical, regulatory, digital, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Monitor the external healthcare and policy environment, identifying long-term opportunities to optimize patient access.
- Develop and oversee local pricing strategies, ensuring compliance with global guidelines and company standards.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative access solutions and value-based propositions.
- Masters or University degree in Sciences, Business Administration, Health Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a background in market access, pricing, or value strategy.
- In-depth understanding of the Maltese healthcare system, reimbursement processes, and pricing landscape.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence at different levels.
- Fluency in English and Maltese (written and spoken).
