- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, key stakeholders, and hotel personnel to generate sales opportunities and expand the customer base
- Actively engage in sales activities including client visits, calls, and community networking to acquire new business and close deals
- Research and develop new leads, upsell opportunities, and leverage market trends and customer insights to maximize revenue
- Support operational tasks related to booked business such as proposals, contracts, and customer communications
- Understand the market landscape, including competitors and economic trends, to strategically position and close sales opportunities aligned with location goals
- Deliver excellent customer service by adhering to brand standards, gathering guest feedback, and setting a positive example in guest relations
- Manage and analyze the companyβs sales database to identify new market niches and increase market share
- Assist the Sales & Marketing Manager with resolving product or service issues and customer complaints
- Ensure all team members comply with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Strong knowledge of the industry and market dynamics
- Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong verbal and written Maltese skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities
