- Oversee production planning and scheduling to ensure timely, cost-effective output with minimal waste and consistent quality.
- Monitor production processes, facility standards, and adjust operations as needed.
- Ensure availability of human and material resources for daily operations.
- Implement company policies, maintain cross-department coordination, and promote food safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Manage store operations including receiving, issuing, storage, and accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain proper stock control (FIFO/FEFO), monitor expiry dates, and ensure inventory accuracy with adequate safety stock.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, space utilisation, and cleanliness while preventing contamination or spoilage.
- Verify all store documentation (receiving, issuing, waste reports) and report non-conforming materials.
- Identify issues and implement improvements in store systems and processes.
- Oversee dispatch operations to ensure products are prepared, loaded, and delivered on time according to standards.
- Verify dispatch records and ensure proper handling and arrangement during transportation.
- Manage logistics operations including vehicle allocation, transportation planning, and supply continuity.
- Resolve logistics issues and develop policies, procedures, and risk management plans to improve efficiency.
- Report daily production performance and KPIs to top management.
- Support strategic planning and implement operational standards.
- Lead, motivate, and organise teams to meet or exceed productivity targets.
- Communicate expectations, monitor performance, and conduct regular appraisals.
- Identify training needs and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.
- Manage workforce activities including scheduling, coaching, and discipline to meet HR objectives.
- Operate effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- University degree is required in any food related major or equivalent related work experience
- A minimum 8-10 years proven experience in similar role
- Successful track record of achieving budgeted results while improving operations
- Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
- Solid judgment along with decision making skills
- Sound Knowledge about Food Safety & Quality Management Systems.
