- Support the Head of People and Culture in executing MFSA’s people strategy and in managing the delivery of strategic and operational HR objectives.
- Deputise for the Head of People and Culture in internal and external meetings and during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making.
- Lead and manage annual workplan and take full accountability for deliverables.
- Monitor the implementation of key HR programmes and initiatives, identifying risks, resolving issues, and reporting progress to the Head.
- Lead people analytics efforts, using data to drive decision-making and enhance HR services.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align HR solutions with organisational needs, acting as a key point of contact for HR-related advice and guidance.
- Oversee or coordinate disciplinary, grievance, and case management processes, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes in line with MFSA policies.
- Assist in designing and delivering employee development programmes with the FSA, in alignment with capability frameworks and organisational goals.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures and systems within People and Culture.
- Build strong working relationships across the organisation to foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.
- Qualification at MQF Level 6 or equivalent qualification in: Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management or in a relevant field. Professional certifications in the field are advantageous.
- A minimum of 6 years prior HR experience in a senior level, preferably within the financial services sector or related fields.
- If you do not have the necessary academic qualifications and minimum years’ experience but you have at least ten (10) years of relevant senior experience, we would still be interested in speaking with you.
- Strong knowledge of global HR best practices, employment law, and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Experience in developing and implementing people strategies in complex organisations.
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage change, and drive organisational culture.
- Analytical, data-driven, and able to solve problems proactively.
