The partnership will see Malta become a premier destination for world-class esports events and innovation, with BLAST debuting in Malta with the BLAST Premier Bounty S2 in August 2025.We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Studio & Event Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our new studio facility while also managing support functions including accommodation, catering, and ground transport for the crew, professional teams and talent. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational management skills with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to ensure a smooth, efficient, and professional experience across all areas.This role is based at our Malta studio but may also have the opportunity to work internationally at other BLAST events.ResponsibilitiesStudio Management

Oversee the daily operations of our brand new Malta studio, ensuring facilities are well-maintained, safe, and fully functional
Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and contractors for both day to day and live event operations including cleaning, security and catering
On-duty Event Manager during live shows and events responsible for the live audience operations
Act as the central point of contact for internal BLAST teams and our external partners regarding the studio
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations

Accommodation & Catering

Coordinate accommodation arrangements for staff, players and talent for Malta shows, negotiating rates and building relationships with the hotels
Oversee the catering provision for events at the hotels and the studio

Transport & Logistics

Organise and procure efficient and cost effective ground transport for staff, talent and players for live events
Work with the internal BLAST team to coordinate transport schedules

Administration & Budgeting

Own and manage the budgets for the above elements relating to the studio and live events
Work closely with the internal BLAST ecosystem teams to ensure they have everything they need for their respective titles to operate in the studio
Implement efficient operational processes and continually look for improvements in how the studio operates
Maintain records and documentation relating to the studio and its contractors

Requirements

Fluent in English
Experience managing live or studio-based event environments
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
Comfortable working with third-party vendors and temporary staff, players and teams
Confident communicator with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Flexible and solutions-focused, particularly during live delivery where working late nights and weekends will be required
Familiar with basic security, health & safety, and audience management standards
