
Finance Manager

- Stay informed and up to date with all hotel and Group policies, ensuring adherence to standard practices
- Assist in maintaining internal control systems to safeguard hotel assets and revenue effectively
- Maintain and manage all accounting records in line with Corporate Office requirements
- Ensure compliance with local laws and fiscal regulations affecting the hotel’s financial matters
- Safeguard, update, and manage all leases, contracts, and legal documents impacting the hotel's financial status
- Reconcile bank statements by the end of each month
- Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations accurately and on time
- Review all finance journals prior to their upload
- Maintain and update the contract registry consistently
- Oversee the month-end close process, including preparation of management accounts, supervising team members, and assisting with their queries
- Ensure timely closure of financial books and prepare all required financial data accurately
- Handle local tax matters, including income tax and VAT, and prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Assist the Director of Finance with departmental tasks and arising issues as needed
- Qualified or in the process of obtaining an accounting qualification
- A minimum of three years of experience in accounting, ideally in a hotel environment
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficiency in computer literacy
- Results-oriented, enthusiastic, and equipped with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to maintain consistent standards, manage priorities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
