- To record in real time all such data as required including data in relation to the entire process of deeds of advances including also deeds of cancellations, waivers postponements and conservation of special privilege deeds in the Bank's current software system;
- To liaise with internal and external lawyers for the submission of pre-deed/ post-deed/ interpretation advices; to submit to same any related documentation or data relevant to the contracts process; upload without delay and on same day any and all documentation and to organize bookings for the signing of deeds;
- To process transactions on the Bank's integrated core banking system relevant and connected to the contract process as well as any other transactions connected to this process, and other transactions connected to the process of contracts of cancellations and waivers of the Bank's hypothecs;
- To ensure that the Bank's security has been registered within the stipulated time period and regularly liaising with Notary and Branch/Unit in cases of default until rectification;
- To order updates of customer's searches on person and property, references of hypothecs, copy of deed/s, plans and other documentation;
- To enable the organizing and record keeping of historical data and/or all such other data obtained from internal/external physical/electronic sources utilized as guidelines for legal/commercial/other decision taking;
- To substitute other staff members within the Unit during their absence and exceptionally to perform those responsibilities of clerks in the Legal Services and/or Corporate Governance Units and any other Unit which may fall within the remit of the Department.
- To submit any reports and/or participate in any projects and activities as may be directed from time to time;
- To ensure compliance with Bank's policies, guidelines and underlying procedures at all times;
- To attend periodical staff meetings or other meetings and to take minutes when required to do so;
- To ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout;
- To perform standard office procedures including processing mail, answering phone calls, ordering supplies and filing;
- To attend training as requested by the Bank;
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
