We strive to offer a highly personalised service through our network of thirteen retail branches spread across the Maltese Islands.We are a team of inspired people who believe that opportunities start with a conversation.Duties and responsibilitiesThe Administrative Officer will be responsible for assisting with administrative tasks of the units that form part of the Bank’s Legal Department including:
  • setting of appointments for contracts of loan and cancellations;
  • processing and keeping record of fees and invoices submitted by external vetting lawyers;
  • assisting in the Updating of Searches process for borrowers with hypothecs registered in favour of the Bank;
  • assisting with archiving process and retrieval of files when required; and
  • scanning of documents and ensuring these are saved in accordance with the necessary requirements;
  • extracting data for the compilation of reports;
  • processing of Garnishee Orders notified to the Bank;
  • processing of files in relation to Deceased Customers; and
  • assisting with any other duties that may be required to achieve and exceed the Department’s objectives as defined from time to time.
Competencies and ExperienceThe Administrative Officer should be reliable and trustworthy, well-organised with a disposition to learn and have a team-oriented approach.The Administrative Officer must:
  • hold at least MQF Level 4 qualification at advanced/intermediate level.
  • be able to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure;
  • be organised and meticulous in work, ensuring high quality of work at all times;
  • be proficient with MS Office applications; and
  • demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese.
