Workplace Type: onsiteJob Description:Shireburn Software’s Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Executive who is fun, creative and has a knack for content creation, and helps in keeping the operations of the Marketing department running smoothly, as well as helping in the organisation of events.The ideal candidate is social media savvy, understands today’s trends, loves to write and can stir up engaging content. Ideally, the candidate is a very organised individual who requires minimal supervision and understands the job cycle and what needs to be done to see it through. An interest in employer branding and understanding of the tech industry, will be considered an asset.Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Creating captivating content and copy for digital and traditional media
Designing of marketing material for both digital and print media using the Adobe Creative Cloud
Basic video editing (like making engaging snippets of a video recording)
Administering our social media pages and creating/maintaining a creative content calendar
Supporting the marketing manager in overseeing the workflow of the department
Co-ordinating of company events and participation in third-party events
Maintaining and promoting Shireburn’s brand standards and visual identity
Liaising with suppliers
Administering the company CRM database and communications

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing role
Excellent design & writing skills
Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms
Experience managing social ad campaigns
Team player with a proactive attitude
Good attention to detail

Experience in a similar position, fluency in mainstream Microsoft applications and CRM software will be considered assets, however we are more interested in finding a person who possesses the right attitude and who will get on well with the rest of the Shireburn team.We’re looking for an individual with a lively personality who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is both creative and analytical, as well as adaptable, with a big willingness to, not only learn, but also to contribute with their own ideas and take initiative, with the objective of always achieving the best outcomes.
