SASMAR is looking for a proficient Business Development Manager, Pharmaceutical Distribution to enhance our outreach and expansion within the pharmaceutical distribution landscape. This crucial position will focus on cultivating strategic partnerships and expanding our distribution networks to ensure that our pharmaceutical products reach the intended markets effectively.In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new distribution opportunities, developing proposals tailored to prospective partners, and negotiating favorable terms to secure lucrative contracts that align with our business objectives. Your expertise will be key in driving sales growth and establishing SASMAR as a leading player in the pharmaceutical industry.Join us in our mission to provide innovative and effective healthcare solutions while working collaboratively with various internal teams to ensure alignment on market strategies and product positioning.Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage with potential pharmaceutical distributors and partners across targeted markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance product availability and visibility in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Conduct detailed market assessments and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with distribution partners while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional material and campaigns that support distribution efforts.
  • Monitor sales performance and market trends to adapt strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and training to the business development team to optimize their performance.
RequirementsWho you are
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical sales or distribution, with a keen understanding of the industry's regulations and practices. Qualifications include:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key distribution partners.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to evaluate market conditions and performance metrics.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
