Our client, a leading company in the Hospitality sector is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team.Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining a system of internal controls which will provide the most effective control of the assets and revenue of the hotel
Ensure that all law and fiscal regulations of the country of location are complied with
Ensure the safekeeping and updating of all leases and contracts and all other legal records and document which may affect the financial status of the hotel
Monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations
Review of all finance journals before being uploaded and ensure contract registry is updated
Closing of end of the month management accounts , supervising the team, members and assisting them with any queries
Closing of the books and the subsequent timely preparation of the required financial data
Ensure that local tax matters, including both income and other taxes, are properly handled and prepare quarterly Vat returns
Assist the Director of Finance with any other matters arising within the department

Requirements

Previous local experience in the hospitality sector
Thrives in a fast paced environment
Experience using Opera
Local experience up to the preparation of management accounts

Education and Experience

A degree in accounting or equivalent qualification
