We are seeking to recruit a Plant Operator. Position is on a full time contract basis.The company is growing rapidly, as is its customer base, particularly those of a corporate nature. Large scale project require committed individuals that can meet the demands,high expectations and tight schedules that are typical of such projects. Duties include: Pour, mix and place concrete as needed Spread and smooth concrete Operate concrete machinery Repair concrete structuresProfilesCompetencies

Clean machines, equipment, moulds and tools (extrusion machine, prestressed concrete mould...)
On-site operations: casting concrete
Prepare material (cables, steel cables...) and concrete for the execution of the product (prestressed concrete, concrete blocks...)
Prepare materials and cleaning products (wiper, rod, ladder). Demarcation of work place/working zone
Check condition and function of machine, position machines in accordance with processes
Set up route according to delivery requirements. Check documents (timetables, order form...)
Determine route according to specifications of the vehicle, cargo and terms of delivery (priorities)
Perform emergency measures in case of accident. Notify services concerned
Transport: building materials
Organise and check the loading of goods onto vehicle
Prepare goods. Load goods as per delivery route
Pick up products and goods, transport and deliver. Check the conformity of goods together with the client
Select and prepare machine for cargo handling in accordance with product characteristics and circumstances
Check validity and presence of necessary onboard and transportation documents
Check condition and equipment of vehicle. Perform trailer coupling
Control condition of cargo and identify anomalities. Report these to concerned department
Contol condition of parts and equipment. Provide first line maintenance servicing
Carry out first line maintenance of gear and equipment
Execute basic maintenance. Clean vehicle
Update machine logbook (maintenance registry, interventions, defects...)
Drive a specific vehicle: Truck with mobile crane (for cars)
Load and unload vehicle - manually or with non-motorised machines for goods handling
Accept payment for delivery
Prepare goods handling equipment (turnbuckles, cotters, containers, clamp hooks...)
