
Team Manager (Fault Finding)

- Lead fault-finding operations on manufacturing equipment and restore operation in the shortest possible time.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure optimum upkeep, servicing, and reliability of plant and production equipment.
- Install and commission new equipment as required.
- Review, recommend, and implement improvements in spare parts procurement and management.
- Supervise and effectively manage assigned maintenance staff.
- Participate in planning, preparation, and delivery of training programs for maintenance employees.
- Use company software systems to manage daily operations and record all actions accurately.
- Ensure proper and complete compilation of all required documentation.
- Raise requisitions and order spare parts and materials in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and suggest changes to improve cost-effectiveness and availability.
- Actively participate in engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute technical expertise to process and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure all environmental, health, and safety standards are adhered to.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure safe practices are implemented in all maintenance activities.
- MQF Level 5 or higher engineering related qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar post would be considered an asset
- Wireman Licence "A" and "B" would be considered an asset
- Awareness of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Awareness of 5S and TPM procedures and techniques
- IT literate
- Fluency in Maltese and English language
