The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the end to end procurement of goods and services, ensuring optimal value, quality, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. This role manages the sourcing, purchasing, inventory control, and storage of goods to support operational excellence across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Purchasing Manager serves as a strategic partner in cost management, vendor negotiation, and operational continuity. Due to the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the hospitality industry, flexibility and adaptability are essential.Responsibilities:-Maintain accurate par levels for all inventory categories; report significant variances to the Financial Controller and COO-Ensure all purchase orders and requisitions are properly approved and executed in alignment with company policies-Maintain strict compliance with local food and beverage storage laws.-Oversee the unloading, receiving, sorting, stocking, securing, and distribution of all goods-Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory audits and support reconciliation efforts-Source competitive vendor bids and ensure proper documentation and cost transparency-Monitor market trends and update inventory pricing to reflect current cost conditions-Coordinate with operations and events teams to fulfill special purchasing requirements-Track and record all pricing changes and ensure system accuracy-Proactively alert the COO to unusual occurrences, supplier issues, or significant policy deviations-Manage daily purchasing and receiving requisitions with accuracy and timelinessQualifications & Assets:-Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in hospitality purchasing or procurement-Thorough understanding of safe food handling practices and beverage inventory management-Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and company approved software platforms-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization and with external vendors-Exceptional organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines-Strong problem-solving mindset, capable of anticipating issues and implementing effective solutions-High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information-Flexible and responsive to shifting business demands; willingness to adapt responsibilities as operational needs evolve-Commitment to supporting a collaborative, service-oriented culture-Additional responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the C-Suite
