We are looking for a fully qualified, PQed, experienced finance professional, who has an excellent financial services background preferably coming from an e-money or PSP entity, to take on this leading and highly sought-after head of financial controlling role. You will be joining an entity that is in the advanced start-up phase and is undergoing an incredible growth period, which is very well well-backed financially offering great job security. This project is going to allow you the opportunity to create and manage the finance function from the ground up locally here in Malta while having the support and collaboration from the main body of the entity in mainland Europe. You will be joining a small family-like team here in Malta where the culture and team connection is second to none. You will be leading the local finance team allowing you the chance to lead and mentor juniors who will be looking to learn and develop under your stewardship.You Will:

Assist in strategic planning, budgeting, and achieving financial objectives
Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with regulations
Lead and collaborate with internal stakeholders

Experience:

Fully Qualified
Ability to be PQed as Financial Control
Experience from financial institutions – preference EMI or PSP
