About the job Project ManagerManpower is seeking a Project Manager for our client in the Construction/Property Development sector, based in Malta.This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing residential and commercial turnkey construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery within budget.ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of turnkey construction projects, including finishes and fit-out works.Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and budget forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within cost.Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.Supervise site operations and ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations in Malta.Source, negotiate, and manage subcontractors and suppliers for trades such as gypsum, aluminium, plumbing, electrical, tiling, and painting.Oversee procurement of materials, ensuring cost-effective and timely purchasing.Monitor progress, manage quality control, and resolve on-site issues promptly.Prepare and present regular project reports and documentation to stakeholders and management.Ensure all MEPA permits, method statements, and site notices are up to date and compliant.Assist in preparing quotations and variations when required.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in turnkey or fit-out projects in Malta.Strong understanding of Maltese construction regulations, materials, and building methods.Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Fluent in English; Maltese language skills are considered an asset.Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project or AutoCAD is an advantage.Valid Maltese driving license.Education & CertificationsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (required).Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are advantageous.
