- Manage and maintain accurate financial and accounting records
- Prepare cashflow reporting and budgets
- Prepare monthly management accounts, VAT returns, payroll, and tax returns
- Oversee bookkeeping processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Liaise with clients and external auditors, offering financial insights and support
- Improve accounting workflows and contribute to system and process enhancements
- Supervise and support the bookkeeping team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to internal processes and deadlines
- Support the team as required from time to time
- Currently reading for an accounting degree such as ACCA or an equivalent qualification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of accounting software is an asset such as Xero and SFM
- Client-focused, strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese languages.
- Clean police conduct and valid driving licence
