We are seeking to recruit an Audit Manager. Position is on a full time contract basis.Job description You will be working on a range of tasks, which will include: • Leading the engagement and involving team members in the planning process and providing guidance as needed • Application of the audit approach to improve the efficiencies of the audit process and identify the risks associated with the engagement • Technical expert for audit assignments, providing advice to audit team and client. • Managing audit assignments from planning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreed timescales. • Controlling time spent and monitoring actual time within budget. • People management – coaching, feedback, performance management, training, and development, engaging high performing teams • Maintaining control and stability under pressure. • Ensuring standards and procedures maintained by whole team • Shows vision and strategic perspective. • Assesses and produces high quality work in line with the Firm's policy and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements. • Have in depth knowledge of IFRSs and International Standards of Auditing This position provides an excellent personal development opportunity as well as career prospects for the job holder. The successful candidate will form part of the organisation’s audit management team and will report to the Audit Partners. Qualifications You are a team player and self-motivated. You have an analytical mind as well as an eye for detail. You possess at least three years’ experience in an Audit Supervisor/Senior 3 role. You are suitably qualified with an ACA, ACCA or BA Accty qualification or equivalent.
