Senior Legal Counsel

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities including commercial, corporate, integrity and data protection, employment, gambling, competition, intellectual rights, and social and responsible gaming
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements (game suppliers, affiliate partners, marketing and advertising, PSPs, integrity and data protection, corporate and intra-group arrangements)
• Research and provide legal and regulatory guidance on jurisdictions the company may consider entering in the future
• Draft and review legal documents including resolutions, letters, NDAs, POAs
• Review and/or draft terms and conditions, policies and procedures
• Provide guidance on IP, trademarks and patents
• Create procedures and policies and offer training on regulatory compliance matters
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies globally
• Handle player complaints/claims
• Manage and supervise the DD and EDD processes
• Manage relationship with third parties and regulatory bodies

• LLM
• 8+ years post grad working experience
• 3+ years experience of working in a legal department within igaming
• Expertise with the abovementioned responsibilities
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills in English

• Office-based in Gzira, Malta
• Flexible employment terms (hours and working from home, depending on performance and business requirements)
