A client is looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Director, the chosen candidate will:

Manage and oversee structural engineering aspects of ongoing projects
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor structural works
Ensure works are executed in line with structural designs, technical standards, and regulatory requirements
Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
Coordinate closely with architects, draughtspersons, contractors, and other stakeholders
Provide technical guidance and resolve structural issues arising on site
Support project delivery from design stage through to site execution
Liaise directly with the senior Structural Engineer on project progress and technical matters

Requirements

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and coordination skills

Education and Experience

Degree in Structural Engineering is a must
Must be based in Malta and hold proven local experience in a Structural Engineer role
Experience handling site works from a structural perspective
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial development projects
Valid driving licence is a must
Local warrant is considered an asset
Maltese will be given preference unless person holds strong local experience in the same role and level
