KonceptX are seeking to recruit a motivated Structural Engineer with a sound knowledge of structural engineering principles, to join the Malta office and work on all the phases of the design process on a variety of projects, ranging in both scale and scope.DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for someone with the following:A good masters’ degree in structural engineeringA minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in structural engineering consultancyWorking knowledge of Eurocode suite of standardsAble to collaborate, with good communication and interpersonal skillsGood analytical skills and experience of a range of architectural and structural engineering softwareStrong organisational skills and the ability to cope with a variety of tasksA flexible, positive approach and the ability to work as part of a teamRESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDEDevelop structural designs on projects at a range of scales in concrete, steel, masonry, timber and other materialsCarry out projects on all phases of the design process, from concept design stage through to inspection on siteCoordinate with architect and other engineering consultants as part of the teamMaintains up to date technical knowledgeUses analytical software effectively and interprets the outputs wellApplies theory to practice and in a logical wayHighlights potential problems and ensures there is resolutionPreparation of property condition and valuation reportsSKILLS & EXPERIENCEUse of 3D modelling toolsWorking knowledge of relevant design software for structural analysisA keen interest in architecture and designSomeone who enjoys their work and is indisputably passionate about delivering great engineeringAble to prioritise own workload, meet tight deadlines and work effectively within a teamAble to build effective working relationships with professionals of all levels and disciplines within the organisation
