A leading corporate provider in Malta are looking for someone to lead the Tax Advisory Department. As a Head of Tax you will be responsible to build and grow the department, managing client relationships and promote the company as a market leader in tax advisory solutions.This is an office based role that offers a salary of up to €80K depending on experience.Role & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the expansion of the Tax Advisory departmentBuild and lead a team of tax professionalsCreate technical tax knowledge and comply with local and international tax regulations, including ATAD, DAC, CRS, FATCA, Transfer Pricing, Pillar 2 and othersProvide exceptional service for a diverse portfolio with matters related to taxResearch complex tax issues and provide commercially sound recommendationsAttending conferences, seminars and meetingsAttract new business opportunitiesLiaise with the internal departments, partners, and stakeholdersPrepare presentations for potential clientsMonitor market trends, regulatory changes and potential opportunities to support business development and innovationEducation, Skills & ExperienceWarranted Accountant5+ years of experience in taxation in Malta - non-negotiableFully qualified in Tax or willing to obtain such qualifications is a plusExcellent communication skills in English at a C2/Native level both written and spokenProven experience in building and leading a teamAble to identify opportunities and drive growthExperience in negotiationsProficient in MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel.
