Our client, an international shipping company based in Malta, seeks to hire an Assistant Accountant for a full-time role within their team.Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate books of accounts and recording invoices and transactions
Conducting bank and other reconciliations
Facilitating supplier payments
Updating databases regularly
Performing administrative duties such as filing and document archiving
Ensuring compliance with accounting methods, principles, and policies
Assisting in quarterly accounts and management reports preparation
Undertaking ad-hoc projects as required

Skill-sets and Requirements

Must be organized and detail-oriented.
Demonstrates self-motivation and the ability to take initiative
While prior experience is not mandatory, candidates with accounting background will be favored.

Education & Experience Candidates should possess a minimum of A-level in accounting or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates in the early stages of ACCA or a similar qualification.Benefits
