- Collaborate in preparing comprehensive monthly management accounts, inclusive of various end-of-month reports
- Support cash flow management activities, ensuring optimal liquidity positions and prudent financial decision-making
- Implement robust quality control measures over financial transactions and reporting
- Contribute to the timely submission of tax, compliance, and other regulatory returns and questionnaires
- Facilitate and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, aligning financial goals with organizational objectives and providing valuable insights for strategic planning
- Prepare requisite documentation for external audits, aiding the Financial Controller in liaising with auditors
- Support the consolidation of yearly financial reporting for the Company
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the finance team, fostering professional development and conducting performance evaluations to optimize team performance
- Aid in compiling VAT reports and Eco tax submissions
- Address day-to-day queries from management
- Offer constructive feedback to the Financial Controller, contributing to ongoing refinement of financial processes and strategies
- Foster collaboration within the finance team and across departments
- Remain adaptable and responsive to evolving business needs, undertaking any additional tasks within the purview of the finance team to support the smooth operation of the business
- Be a part or fully qualified Accountant
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated commitment to high work ethics and integrity in financial practices
- Profound comprehension of accounting principles, financial regulations, taxation legislations, and financial reporting standard
- Sound knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis methodologies
- Hands-on experience in cash flow management, cost control, and financial risk assessment strategies
- Exceptional leadership skills coupled with strong interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration and influence across diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, coupled with advanced Excel skills
