A well established Corporate Services Provider is looking for a Senior Accountant to work for one of their big clients operating in the Retail sector.Responsibilities:

Maintaining up to date accounting records up to trial balance stage
Posting of invoices
Completing day to day bookkeeping
Carrying out bank reconciliations
Processing VAT returns
Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
Ensuring Debtors and Creditors are in line with the credit terms
Chasing such debtors
Assisting to ad-hoc queries and tasks as instructed from management
Preparation of Payroll and work permits
Prepare the finalisation pack for the companies within the same group

Requirements

Previous local experience in a similar role
Proficiency in both Maltese and English language is required
Having a Maltese driver's license would be considered an asset
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work
