Heroix is partnering with a leading retail distribution business to recruit a Senior Brand Manager who will take strategic ownership of a dynamic brand portfolio. This position plays a pivotal role in defining long-term brand direction, driving commercial performance, and leading cross-functional initiatives that support sustained business growth. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong leadership capabilities to elevate brand positioning and maximise market opportunities.Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Brand Leadership: Lead the development and execution of long-term brand strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market dynamics.
- Portfolio Oversight & Growth: Manage and optimise a portfolio of established and emerging brands, identifying growth opportunities, improving market share, and enhancing brand equity.
- Marketing Strategy & Innovation: Design and implement comprehensive marketing plans, introducing innovative campaigns and initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and consumer engagement.
- Commercial Performance Management: Take ownership of brand P&L performance, analysing sales data, market trends, and profitability to drive informed strategic decisions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a key liaison between marketing, sales, supply chain, and senior leadership, ensuring alignment on brand priorities and execution.
- Sales & Trade Marketing Alignment: Collaborate closely with sales leadership to develop impactful trade marketing strategies, promotional plans, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international brand owners and suppliers, leading negotiations, performance reviews, and joint business planning.
- Team Mentorship & Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional development within the team.
- Education: Diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline. A Degree would be considered an asset.
- Experience: Significant experience in brand management or marketing within a retail, FMCG, or distribution environment, with proven success in a senior or leadership role.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in Maltese will be considered an asset.
- Leadership & Influence: Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Commercial Acumen: Highly analytical with a solid understanding of financial metrics, P&L management, and market dynamics.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Organisation & Prioritisation: Capable of managing multiple high-impact projects while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
