  • You collaborate across the business to identify, document and maintain data domains, data assets and data flows.
  • You support the Data Governance Lead in maintaining core data governance artefacts such as the data catalog, data lineage, business glossary, and KPI glossary, including regular updates and quality checks.
  • You help define and embed data ownership, stewardship, and accountability across business and technical teams.
  • You identify gaps or inconsistencies in data definitions, quality, usage, or lifecycle practices and work with data owners to drive improvements.
  • You support the intake, tracking, and follow-up of data-related requests and governance actions across the organisation.
  • You contribute to embedding data governance principles into day-to-day business practices, including data lifecycle, data quality, and usage standards.
  • You act as a liaison between data owners, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure data governance principles are applied in daily operations and new initiatives.
  • You support the Data Governance Lead in driving and implementing the data governance strategy, roadmap, and ongoing maturity improvements.
QualificationsWhich skills should you bring to the pitch:
  • Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience. 2+ years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, analytics, or a related role within a data-driven environment.
  • Ownership & Precision. Ability to take ownership of tasks with diligence and consistency, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and prioritization.
  • Time Management. Strong prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication. Strong communicator with the ability to clearly convey technical and business concepts and actively contribute to team discussions.
  • Data Governance
  • Good understanding of data governance practices such as data ownership, stewardship, data lineage, data cataloguing, and metadata management.
  • Experience working with data governance or metadata management tooling is a plus.
  • Data & Technology Understanding
  • Ability to understand data flows, data processing pipelines, and analytical data structures.
  • Excel & Analysis. Strong Excel skills and a solid analytical mindset.
