The QA Officer is responsible for the company's SOPs, upkeep of Quality Systems and follow the day to day activities.lResponsibilities · To prepare and periodically review Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols, Reports and other documents as may be required. · To actively participate in the implementation of Quality Systems that meet all current Maltese, EU and other (as necessary) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and to ensure that these are being followed on a day-to-day basis. · To assist in the process of continuous improvement of the above mentioned quality systems. Requirements · Advanced Level of Education in Biology and/or Chemistry and/or Physics and/or other Science Subject, a degree would be preferred. · 2 Years’ Working Experience in a GMP-Regulated Environment · Good planning and organization skills · To be able to work alone and as part of a teamProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHISCED Level: Bachelor or equivalent - Level (6)Competencies
  • Domain: quality, quality assurance, quality management system
  • Acquire and collect documents/information; assemble documentation collections
  • Check conformity of manufacturing of products and parts
  • Detect and mark defects on the outside of the products and articles (dots, bubbles...)
  • Draw up the control documents for conformity, traceability and quality management
  • Analyse non-conforming cases. Take corrective actions and make recommendations
  • Prepare planned controls, taking into account files, procedures, orders, instructions
  • Fill out monitoring data for intervention. Create reports of tests and controls
  • Follow-up and analyse control data of project, processes and products (measurements and indicators)
  • Raise awareness among staff and provide training on approach to quality management
  • Follow-up and check conformity with rules, procedures and quality regulations
  • Check validity of (human) resources (certificates, authorisations/approvals) and of measuring/evaluation instruments
  • Explain and execute a quality action plan or method (corrections, improvements, uniformity...)
  • Develop and adapt general control procedures, instructions, test procedures, specifications...
