A growing pharmaceutical group of companies, specialized in the production of APIs and finished dosage forms are working with GRS Professional Recruitment Malta to recruit a Environmental Public Health Surveillance Officer (EPHS) in Malta. The selected candidate will report directly to the EPHS Manager and will primarily be responsible for the upkeep of the Health, Safety and Environmental systems of the company. If you have the required skills & experience GRS are looking for, we look forward to receiving your CV for this Malta based EPHS Officer role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConduct regular Health, Safety and Environmental risk assessments.Organise training of staff on Health, Safety and Environmental topics.Assisting in ensuring that the sites comply with established Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and legislation through audits and regular inspections.Updating, reviewing, and monitoring the Health, Safety and Environmental systems.Carry out studies and research to identify possible improvement solutions to the Health, Safety and Environmental management system.Assist in maintain the IPPC permit and ISO 14001 Environmental Management standard.Assist in monitoring environmental activities, waste management and water treatment.CANDIDATE PROFILEMinimum of a Degree qualification in a related area, a Masters degree will be considered as an asset.A minimum of three years’ experience in EPHS or in a relevant area, preferably in a pharmaceutical/chemical environment.A desire to further develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced business.Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).Proficient in English and ideally also in Maltese.A strong attention to detail and a proven track record of creating efficient processes to best manage administrative tasksPossess excellent organisation and time management skillsStrong values of working as part of a team.Self-motivated and capable of solving things in a pro-active manner and with a ‘let’s get things done’ attitude.COMPANY BENEFITSContinuous opportunity for professional growth and training.Competitive salary.Health insurance.Medical check-ups.A positive working environment with an employee focused approach.Due to the high volume of applications we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.To apply for this position, please email your CV to Giuseppe Buda, quoting the above job reference or call +356 2778 0664.
