EPHS Officer

• Conduct regular Health, Safety and Environmental risk assessments
• Organise training of staff on Health, Safety and Environmental topics
• Assist in ensuring that the sites comply with established Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and legislation through audits and regular inspections
• Update, review, and monitor the Health, Safety and Environmental systems
• Carry out studies and research to identify possible improvement solutions to the Health, Safety and Environmental management system
• Assist in maintaining the IPPC permit and ISO 14001 Environmental Management standard
• Assist in monitoring environmental activities, waste management and water treatment

• Minimum of a Degree qualification in a related area, a Masters degree will be considered as an asset
• A minimum of three years experience in EPHS or in a relevant area, preferably in a pharmaceutical/chemical environment
• A desire to further develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced business
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Being proficient in English and ideally also in Maltese
