Job DescriptionOur client, a leading organisation in the aviation sector, is seeking to recruit a Learning and Training Specialist to join their team. The chosen candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering effective training programmes across the organisation, ensuring that learning initiatives are aligned with business needs and drive professional growth.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging training programmes in classroom, blended, and online formats using proven instructional design methodologies.
  • Develop learner-friendly training materials, including facilitator guides, presentations, and supporting resources.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and define clear learning objectives in line with organisational priorities.
  • Collaborate with managers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure training content meets business requirements.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of workshops, learning sessions, and initiatives across departments.
  • Support the implementation of learning technologies and digital tools to enhance training delivery.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including matrices, attendance, and completion data.
  • Monitor training effectiveness using evaluation tools and provide regular reports and recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with learning trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve training.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Learning & Development, Human Resources, or a related field (MQF Level 6).
  • At least 2 years' experience in training design and delivery, ideally within a corporate setting.
  • Previous experience as a teacher, trainer, instructional designer, or L&D professional is required.
  • Certification in instructional design, training, or learning technologies (e.g., e-learning, Articulate 365) will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (C1/C2 level). Fluency in both English and French will be considered a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A collaborative team player with creativity, flexibility, and strong problem-solving abilities.
