We are pleased to be assisting our client in the search for a professional and customer-focused Bar Attendant. This role requires an individual with proven experience in a 5-star environment, excellent knowledge of beverages, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.Responsibilities

Welcome, serve, and bid farewell to all clients.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and food items.
Assess customer needs and make recommendations.
Interact with guests and conduct follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
Handle payments accurately.
Open and close the bar area.
Restock and replenish inventory.
Maintain knowledge of beverage lists and menus.
Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of the work area.
Report complaints, comments, or breakages.
Place internal orders from Main Stores.
Dispose of waste correctly.
Perform additional tasks as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a 5-star environment.
Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktails, coffee, tea, and other beverages.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent guest service and communication skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts.
Attention to detail with a positive, professional attitude.
Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
Hands-on experience with cash handling and ideally Micros Simphony POS.
Valid local Food Handling License in accordance with the Food Safety Commission of Malta.
