In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients with essential accounting and compliance activities. As our new Accounting Assistant, you will:Support client accounting activities by accurately processing purchase and sales invoices within our accounting systemsAssist with the processing of bank transactions, accruals, prepayments, and the maintenance of fixed asset registersPrepare and perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial recordsMaintain organised and up‑to‑date accounting files, including invoices, receipts, and supporting documentationContribute to month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including support in the preparation of management accountsAssist the team during audit processes by providing required documentation and supportCollaborate with colleagues across the Finance and Corporate Services team on general accounting and administrative tasksLearn from experienced professionals while building practical, hands‑on accounting knowledge in a real‑world environmentThis role offers exposure to a variety of accounting activities, continuous learning opportunities, and the flexibility to grow at your own pace.About YouWe’re looking for someone who:Holds a basic accounting qualification (such as A‑Level Accounting, a bookkeeping qualification, or an equivalent)Has up to two years of experience in an accounting or finance support roleHas a good understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, including double‑entry bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliationsIs comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, particularly ExcelCommunicates clearly and professionally in written and spoken EnglishIs organised, detail‑oriented, and values accuracy in their workCan manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentIs eager to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to a collaborative teamBrings a positive, professional approach when interacting with internal colleagues and external stakeholdersWe welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who are motivated to build a career in accounting.Why PwC?
