Technician responsible for carrying out constant preventive and corrective maintenance equipment, systems, services, installations and tools in order to minimize loss of production time. Remarks: Full time on a contract basis.The Technician will be involved in: • Setting up, Maintenance, Repair of our manufacturing and plant equipment • Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of fibre optic gyroscopes • Documentation / record keeping • Technical assistance to Production line operations • Technical assistance and hands on help to Maintenance person when required. • Technical Department Electronic parts storekeeping and control • Calibration of equipment • Chemicals storage and Expiry control in accordance with H&S requirements • Implementation of corrective actions as per H&S requirements within the Production area.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHCompetencies

Detect malfunctions in the electronic equipment; localise defects
Make an estimate of the price and the term of repair
Identify defective components and replace them (PCBs: printed circuit boards...)
Compose and update reference libraries or databases with technical data on products and components
Inquire about circumstances of failure and make first diagnosis
