Kitchen Assistant - Chinese Cuisine

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, cutting, and preparing ingredients.
• Support the preparation of Chinese dishes following kitchen instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment.
• Wash utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment as required.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items in line with hygiene standards.
• Assist with stock rotation and basic inventory tasks.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures (HACCP).
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment will be considered an asset.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good level of reliability and attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills in English.
