Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

• Support the QHSE Executive in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all employees and clients.
• Carry out risk assessments and develop Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).
• Assist in maintaining and improving the company's EHS Management System.
• Help manage the company's Emergency Response Plans and lead emergency drills.
• Conduct site inspections and issue Permit-to-Work (PTW) for high-risk activities.
• Support the company's environmental commitments and sustainability goals.
• Participate in incident investigations, EHS meetings, and audits.
• Obtain operational permits from local authorities related to EHS activities.

• As a minimum requirement we are looking for a NEBOSH Certificate however a Diploma in Health and Safety or equivalent will be considered an asset.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage across all levels of the workforce.
• Ideally, knowledge of EHS legislation and safety-specific risks.
• A team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
