- Provide administrative support to compliance and investigations teams, including preparation of documents, templates, and basic reports.
- Assist in managing communications with internal and external stakeholders, including handling emails, letters, and telephone calls in a professional manner.
- Maintain records and filing systems, ensuring case files and documentation are properly logged and stored in the Case Management System.
- Support data entry and basic analysis by compiling and organising transactional and statistical data as required.
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of meetings, workshops, and appointments, including preparing meeting materials and taking minutes.
- Liaise with other departments or agencies for the exchange of routine information and documentation, under the guidance of senior staff.
- Provide logistical support for onsite visits and internal projects, including preparing materials and maintaining relevant checklists.
- Track incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations by gathering required information and formatting documents appropriately.
- Assist in organising travel and accommodation arrangements for staff attending local or international meetings or training events.
- Carry out other administrative tasks as assigned by management to support day-to-day operations.
- The chosen candidate must be in possession of a School Leaving Certificate with at least 5 years' experience or in possession of an MQF Level 4 qualification with at least 2 years work experience relevant to this post.
- Fluency in both Maltese and English languages is essential.
- Sound knowledge and practical understanding of the Use of Cash (Restriction) Regulations (SL 373.04) and other laws that govern the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism in Malta and the applicable international standards and EU legislation.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and office automation tools.
