- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Guide guests to their tables and provide menus, as well as inform them about daily specials.
- Deliver exceptional customer service. Address any complaints politely and promptly, and strive to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Answer phone calls promptly, taking reservations and addressing inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Monitor the dining room to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction.
- Assist servers and kitchen staff as needed to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Previous experience as a Hostess/Receptionist in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour .
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain composed under pressure
- Proficiency in using reservation management systems and basic computer skills
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
- Professional appearance and behaviour in line with restaurant standards
- Teamwork and collaboration with other staff members.
