Draughtsperson

• Develop accurate and detailed technical drawings for bespoke joinery and architectural metalwork projects.
• Interpret architectural and structural plans to produce clear shop and assembly drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, materials, and fixing methods.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, production staff, and site teams to ensure technical accuracy and design feasibility.
• Specify appropriate materials and finishes, considering structural integrity, durability, and aesthetics.
• Integrate proprietary systems, hardware, or fittings through coordination with suppliers and fabricators.
• Ensure proper version control of drawings and maintain up-to-date documentation across departments.
• Conduct site visits and attend client meetings as necessary to gather measurements and support installation planning.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standard drawing libraries and technical documentation.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant drafting experience in joinery and/or metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software).
• Strong technical detailing skills and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of joinery and metalwork materials, fittings, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Design, or a related technical field (preferred).
