
Senior Tech Lead - Infrastructure and Security

- Lead and manage infrastructure and cybersecurity operations to ensure systems are secure, resilient, and high-performing.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimise network and server infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and virtualised environments.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat analysis to proactively detect and mitigate risks.
- Manage and respond to security incidents, including investigation, containment, and resolution.
- Oversee the setup, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of security tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data loss prevention technologies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal service disruption and prompt resolution.
- Work closely with development and support teams to ensure secure integration and deployment of applications.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, and security protocols.
- Keep abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and new technologies, and propose enhancements to strengthen overall security.
- Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure and security-related projects.
- Contribute to the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Support audit activities and compliance efforts related to IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPN technologies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Strong familiarity with established security frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft and Linux server environments, virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V, and cloud services including Azure or AWS.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline (MQF Level 6 or equivalent).
- Candidates with lower academic qualifications may be considered if supported by substantial relevant experience and/or industry certifications.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure and cyber security, with practical involvement in managing enterprise-level systems and networks.
