- Lead and manage the infrastructure and cyber security operations, ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and performant.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimise network and server infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and virtual environments.
- Implement and enforce cyber security policies, procedures, and controls in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat analysis to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of security tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, and DLP systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution.
- Collaborate with software development and support teams to ensure secure integration and deployment of applications.
- Active participate in Technical Architecture and security decision processes.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, and security protocols.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance the security posture.
- Lead the implementation of projects related to Infrastructure & Security.
- Assist in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Support audits and compliance initiatives related to IT infrastructure and cyber security.
- Any other task that may be assigned to by the Director - Technology or Chief Officer - Technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field (MQF level 6 or equivalent). Lower qualifications and/or Certifications will be considered if accompanied by relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure and cyber security roles, with hands-on experience in managing enterprise systems and networks.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Experience with Microsoft and Linux server environments, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Proficiency in security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) is an asset.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent is considered an asset.
- Relevant network certifications such as CCNA or equivalent are highly desirable.
