Heroix is proud to be partnering with a reputable business in the shipping and insurance sector to recruit a proactive and results-driven Sales & Operations Agent. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to the ongoing growth and operational success of a well-established firm. The selected candidate will play a vital role in managing day-to-day project activities, liaising with clients and partners, and supporting sales initiatives.Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Development: Formulate and pursue strategies aimed at generating leads, strengthening client relationships, and expanding service reach.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain consistent communication with key customers to understand and anticipate their logistics needs on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Quotations and Agreements: Prepare and deliver detailed quotations, service proposals, and contractual documentation with precision and timeliness.
  • Operational Coordination: Provide day-to-day support to ensure smooth service execution, collaborating closely with trucking partners, agents, and logistics networks.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track service quality, ensure compliance with deadlines, and generate reports on activities, developments, and performance outcomes.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
  • Education: A relevant qualification or diploma in logistics, business, or related field would be considered an asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, operations, or client-facing roles within shipping, logistics, or a service-oriented industry is preferred.
  • Driving License: Valid driving license required.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to advise clients clearly and effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, demonstrating professionalism, sensitivity, and trust in all interactions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in preparing quotes, handling client presentations, and using logistics or CRM systems is highly advantageous.
  • Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Self-Motivated: Energetic and driven, showing a determined and goal-oriented approach to achieving results.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at identifying issues early and offering practical, client-focused solutions with a sense of urgency.
