Are you ready to help us face challenges and find solutions that get us both to the next level of excellence?What the role entails:Some of the key responsibilities of our Finance Accountant will be including but not limited to:

Be responsible for end-to-end accounting of multiple Maltese entities
Take accountability for all transactions are compliant with regulations and accounting standards
General ledger is reconciled with sub-ledgers and accounts
Maintain accurate records of transactions and keep the general ledger up-to-date
Review and post all regular & adjust journal entries
Ensure recurring journal entries are accurate and posted
Ensure all transactions are recorded in the correct period and are properly classified
Adjust and review prepaid expenses
Review depreciation and amortization entries and participate in physical inventory counts of assets and adjust books if required
nsure all bank transactions recorded properly and all bank statements are reconciled with the general ledger
Be responsible for intercompany calculations, invoice issuance and intercompany accounts' reconciliation
Overall responsibility for payroll calculation, salary and other salary related payments and accounting Be responsible for calculation and recording of taxes, as well as tax related accounts reconciliation and tax payments
Ensure proper reporting based on group requirements and country requirements (tax, statistical, bank related reports)
Ensure any other external and internal reporting required by any organization or authorities
Be responsible for preparation of financial statements Be the first point of contact for audit for multiple entities

What we ask of you:

Proficiency in accounting standards
Understand financial statement preparation and analysis
Ability to analyze financial data and identify anomalies
Knowledge of tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements Understand audit processes
Expertise in accounting system used by the Group
Proficiency in Excel High level of accuracy in data entry
Ability to evaluate complex financial information
Great time management and problem solving skills
Good communication skills
Excellent English knowledge (written and verbal)
Experience 10+ years

Preferences:

Experience in the gaming industry
Experience in accounting for multiple entities at the same time
