Senior Data Developer

• Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions, including:
• Building robust ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
• Designing and implementing warehouse schemas and data models
• Maintaining version control and testing data pipelines for reliability
• Monitoring data quality and system performance
• Translate business logic and source system data into accurate and well-documented warehouse structures
• Collaborate with internal data analysts and stakeholders to define data needs and optimise data workflows
• Work closely with the in-house tech team, system owners, and other departments on cross-functional data initiatives
• Contribute to the implementation of modern data tools and cloud platforms such as Azure Data Factory and Synapse

• MQF Level 6 qualification (or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field, plus at least 4 years’ relevant experience;

• MQF Level 5 qualification with at least 5 years’ relevant experience

• Data warehousing, including data modelling and ETL processes
• Coding (preferably in C# or similar languages)
• Querying databases using T-SQL or comparable languages

• DevOps practices such as Git and CI/CD
• Cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
• Data orchestration tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Synapse)
