Our client, a comprehensive management services provider covering areas such as company formation, corporate secretarial, accounting, tax, trustee, marine, and aviation services, is currently seeking a Corporate Associate to join their dynamic team in Malta. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee a crucial portfolio of private clients, managing corporate and trust structures. Your responsibilities will extend to advising the board of directors on client transactions and ensuring legal compliance. If you hold the required skills and experience we are looking for, GRS look forward to receiving your CV for this Malta based Corporate Associate role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCultivate strong relationships with UBOs, clients, family offices, and business introducersServe as the main point of contact for a designated portfolio, addressing queries promptlyAnalyze proposed transactions, offering tailored solutions from legal, tax, and corporate perspectivesOversee client transactions and restructuring projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding expectationsAdvise the board of directors on client transactions and review/draft relevant documentationAdminister legal and trust structures, handle formation and dissolution of entities primarily in MaltaAssist client relationship team with accounting and tax-related mattersManage AEoI assessment and reportingEnsure optimal performance of direct reportees and manage client databasesCoordinate with client accounting team to resolve issues and improve client experienceCollect and organize KYC and CDD documentation for AML/CFT complianceFulfill other related duties as reasonably requiredStay current on local compliance regulations, focusing on the Prevention of Money Laundering ActAdhere to local regulatory, AML/CFT requirements, and policiesComplete mandatory Group Annual Assurance and trainingReport suspicious transactions to the Money Laundering Reporting OfficerPromote company’s values of professionalism, teamwork, and equalityCANDIDATE PROFILEA minimum of 5 years relevant experience working within the TCSP, accounting, tax or audit sectorsDoctor of Laws/Master of AdvocacyProven track record of managing portfolios of entities ultimately owned by UHNW familiesDirect operational experience of international structures and private clientsProven track record of meeting and exceeding expectationsDue to the high volume of applications we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.To apply for this position, please email your CV to Anais Vincke at the following email address quoting the above job reference or call +356 21680800 for further information.
